Formaje aims to promote the excellence and appreciation of artesian cheese. Bastida created a functional and unique uniform to dress their staff and protect them from the cool temperatures in store that are needed for the optimal preservation of cheeses.

The wool used in the uniform also refers to the artisan origins of cheese production and the much-loved event in Spanish culture, La Trashumancia – when grazing sheep are taken across Spain and temporarily fill the cities, reminding everyone of the connection between rural and urban areas.
