Who<\/h4>\n

Coming from a Fashion and Fine Arts background, we came together thanks to a shared desire to promote an alternative way of consumption within the apparel industry.<\/p>\n

Why<\/h4>\n

We all found in workwear a place where we could create while generating\u00a0a positive impact and\u00a0a conscious way to produce. This\u00a0allows us to offer a\u00a0permanent collection, with space for care and improvement,\u00a0disregarding the ephemerality of fashion and trend frenzy.<\/p>\n

How<\/h4>\n

Pushing the boundaries of uniformity,\u00a0mending the lack of a feminine approach and the absence of\u00a0a<\/b> 360\u00ba design behind it.\u00a0\u00a0Advocating for adequacy, not unification.<\/p>\n

With those parameters in mind, we created Bastida, a word that means \u201cscaffold\u201d in Catalan, a structure dedicated to hold workers and help them reach inaccessible areas.<\/p>\n

It had a meaningful undertone, and being also a feminine word in our language, it felt ideal.<\/p>\n

Sustainability<\/h4>\n

Bastida was born from an existing need, not from the will to create one.Our commitment extends to the entire cycle of a garment\u2019s life. From promoting our local producers, choosing ecologically made materials and\u00a0post-consumer<\/em>\u00a0(GRS) recycled synthetic fibers, in order to the improve the washing experience and its environmental impact.<\/p>\n
